once upon a long long time
every thing was black or white
with shining light to guide us to the dawn
to the dawn now there s only grey
and the light has dimmed away
this ship of fools is shinking in the storm
i was young till yesterday
believed the tales they told
i was young till yesterday
but now i m ready to grow old
everything is going to be
just the way it s got to be
a man can t change the colour of the sky
everybody s making plans
pointing guns and waving flags
but i m not sure that any side is right
